Charlotte Simmons

Hello there! I’m Charlotte, a Mental Health Counseling Student at Northwestern University and counselor in training at Peak Clarity. I am working towards a master’s degree and licensure.

I want to start by telling you something about me. When it’s snowing, I roll down the windows, turn my music up and breathe in. In those moments, I feel free. It’s the feeling I hold onto when life is too heavy.

Now, more than ever, we all need and expedition partner. Someone to listen to us and guide us through our fears, secrets and insecurities. In counseling with me, I will help you embrace this messy thing we call life, explore possibilities, and take some risks. To support you in becoming
your authentic, awesome and powerful self. I’m here for you, to walk beside you while you want me to. And, when it’s time, help you get in your metaphorical car, roll your windows down, and blast your music.

Outside of my studies and counseling, I love playing video games meant for children, listening to true crime audiobooks, and watching literally any Netflix documentary I can get my hands on. I’m also listening to Harry Potter for the 101st time, playing fetch with my two dogs (I’m the
one throwing, not fetching), and dreaming about the trips I want to take when it’s safer to travel.

I see clients on a sliding scale based on income. Sessions start at $30 per session. Reach out to me and to set up a time to talk briefly about what is going on in your life and see if we are a good fit!
